Insulating paper is an electrical insulation material made by adding an insulating coating to paper pulp. It has good insulation properties, mechanical strength, and temperature resistance. Paper insulation material is a thin sheet-like insulating material made of plant fibers, mineral fibers, synthetic fibers, and mixtures as raw materials, and the fibers are deposited on a paper machine through a medium. Insulating paper can be used in cables, coils, transformers, motors, reactors, and other fields. It is the basic solid insulation material to ensures the stable operation of power and electrical equipment and plays an indispensable and important role.

When delivering power to an unloaded transformer, must the neutral point of the transformer be grounded?
When power is supplied to an unloaded transformer, if the neutral point is not grounded, there will be the following dangers: ⑴ The maximum voltage between the neutral point and the ground on the power side of the transformer can reach the phase voltage, which may damage the transformer insulation; ⑵ Between the high and low voltage windings of the transformer There is capacitance, which will cause "transmission overvoltage" from high voltage to low voltage; (3) When the capacitance coupling between the high and low voltage windings of the transformer, resonant overvoltage may occur and damage the insulation. Therefore, when power is supplied to an unloaded transformer, the neutral point of the transformer must be grounded.
How to improve transformer efficiency?
1) Try to use low-loss, high-efficiency and energy-saving transformers
2) Select a transformer with reasonable capacity based on load conditions
3) The average load factor of the transformer should be greater than 70%
4) When the average load factor is often less than 30%, a small-capacity transformer should be replaced as appropriate
5) Improve the load power factor to improve the transformer's ability to transmit active power
6) Properly configure the load to minimize the number of operating transformers.
